Lomond Oak is a unique engineered floor boasting a very traditional and rustic feel. The wide 180mm planks on this engineered floor have a subtle whitewash with a very rustic appearance. Fantastic extra-long 1900mm planks make for a very desirable look. Perfect for any setting, adds a real traditional vintage feel. A truly popular width of board, this natural brushed oak floor is set a little wider than most common floorboards, giving this product a grander look and feeling. The wider boards are perfect for larger open areas like bedrooms or living rooms even halls. Superior quality timber has been used when constructing these beautiful wider boards, ensuring structural integrity as well as a fantastic look that will last.
Lomond Oak engineered floor is prepared with a 5mm wear layer to cope with the demands of the domestic household and you will be happy to know that there are 8 coats of matt lacquer applied to each board for ultimate wear protection.
These coats of matt lacquer are applied evenly so not to spoil the natural look of each plank and makes this floor easy to maintain and clean. Every plank has a micro bevelled v –groove that frames each plank as individual.
All our Brushed Oak have an easy to keep matt lacquered finish with a stunning lovely to touch brushed surface. These boards are designed for busy lives and UNLIKE oiled floors require minimal maintenance. Oiled floors need oiled annually, are very porous and can stain. Brushed and lacquered floors appear like oiled boards but are a lot more practical simply needing a soft brush with a damp mop swished over it now and again.
